Adorable Lincoln Jeffrey with Auntie Carrie

I couldn't resist putting this one up -- OK - I know I'm a bragging grandmother...that's what "blog" pages are for.....Tonight I'm heading up north to Nashua to be with the Sanborn boys and their families....we don't get trick-or-treaters on Thomas Drive - so I'm going to where the action is tonight...should be fun....I'll get some more photographs!!! Posted by Picasa

Lincoln Jeffrey Archibald - first trip to Chelmsford

Lincoln Jeffrey is already changing and growing up -- he's 3 weeks old already!! We don't think he looks too much like Lance Michael....but Lance is glad to have a "live" doll to play with...he keeps trying to point to his eyes, belly button, nose, etc....
Lincoln likes to nap on Auntie Carrie's lap.

Great Uncle Bobby has the greatest smile!!! The baby seems to be looking at him and trying to copy it...I remember when Bobby was a little fellow and we carved a jack-o-lantern and he was so proud of it...we could not figure out who had the biggest smile ... Bobby or the jack-o-lantern....remember Bob?

Bobby stopped by for a visit before heading to Southbridge to visit Great Grammie and Great Grandpa Miskell. Posted by Picasa

Halloween 2006 - Lance is too tired!!!

Took Lance Michael for a walk -- it was so nice out but so windy...he fell asleep with his pumpkin. We helped him make a jack-o-lantern...but he did not seem too interested. Uncle Tighe and Grammie Sue were there to help out too!!!

Sammy on the waterfront - Maine - USA

Sammy had fun climbing (I think he's part Monkey ha Sammy?) on the rocks along the ocean edge....soon after this peaceful photograph was taken, he fell in and got pretty wet....it was funny -- so the bus driver stopped at the local "Wallmart" and Theresa ran in and got Sammy some dry clothes....while she was in there, she bought a bunch of bags of chips for all the bus riders!!!! Sammy always finds stuff to do to keep busy -- he loved climbing and jumping on and off this huge anchor.

Breathtaking view of Camden, Maine harbor. Anne and David Hoy live there until the snow flies and then they fly out West to Arizona for the Winter....Retirement is great!!! Posted by Picasa

Altamaha Reunion - 2006 - More Photographs

Wanted to put up a few more photographs from our Altamaha, Maine weekend....Timmy and Dini pose on one of the boats we toured through....Sammy loved it - climbing everywhere...

Family photo with all of us with Camden Harbor in the background...what a gorgeous (oh oh gorgeous word alert) sunny day!!!

Altamaha Reunion - Maine - 2006

We had a great trip to the Maine coast a few weeks ago...Theresa, Sammy, Timmy, Dini, Mom and Dad all attended - it was great weather -- couldn't believe it was so sunny out! Here is Theresa with hostess Anne Hoy from Camden, Maine. Anne's husband David was on the Altamaha ship too. These reunions are so much fun for Mom and Dad and it's been great to get to know all these folks who were in the Navy during World War II. We stopped for a gorgeous view (oh-oh, did I say gorgeous Earl?) of Camden harbor....never have I seen such a clearer day in Maine!! The group shot is of all the Altamaha shipmates.

Visit to Ivy Jane Miskell - Friday

We visited Clinton/Stacey and Ivy Jane on Friday night - Clinton and Stacey went out on a date to a nice restaurant "Aquatane" in Brookline..sounds nice!....Ivy Jane loves Tommy's glasses.....she snuggled up to me hinting "time for bed"....she is such a happy little girl...goes straight to bed and to sleep. It was a delight to visit her...she is such a tiny petite little "gal" after holding "Tough fellow" Lance Michael.
