All Ireland "Madness" - Email from Jape in Ireland....

Email from Jape: Hi, Weather kind of hanging in there over here...thank God!!!!
Not as good or as hot as the USA...BUT we'll just take NO RAIN for a little while....Kids were working on this stuff yesterday...thought I'd send on....also we are starting to eat a lot of nick's organic vegetables...some delicious, some awful (e.g. Broad beans...not my favourite...!!!).

Rocky -- a great "cheerleader" for Ireland...the Match is September 2...we'll have to stay in touch with them that day....looks like Limerick has a great chance to win the "All Ireland"...Go Limerick!!!

Visited May Paquette in Dracut...

Here is David Paquette...May's son....he was our "server"...it was great to see him..have known him since he was a little tot!!!

Stopped to see Maye at the new Sports park in Dracut....with water splash park areas and a nice baseball field....snack bar and all the goodies to make it a fun family trip....Thanks Maye....

Monday - August 27--- Lunch with the "gals" at Owen and Ollie's in Dracut

Had a great lunch with some of the "Paint and Powder" gals....wonderful NEW restaurant in Dracut that the Gormans own...had delicious/healthy salads and it was great to catch up with Gladys, Janet, Jan, myself and Cindy.....

"Mary" was pruning the flowers and they looked so lovely (thanks to her)....she took our photograph in front of them...Thanks Mary!!!!

Surf "Jeff"....North Beach - Sunday - August 26

Happy Anniversary Carrie and Tighe!!!! Jeffrey wanted to be a "surfer" again on Sunday...it was a great day and the waves were pretty good....I went to the North Beach on Thursday with Sue and the waves were much bigger....

We also climbed "Raymond Rock" ---- what a treat....gorgeous view of the lake below...the leaves are starting (just a tiny bit) to turn colors....Fall is right behind us....but let's enjoy some more Summer!!!

Friday - August 24...Kayaking on Potanipo Lake....

Had a great weekend away at Sue/Ron's....Linda, June and Sue on the Kayaks....it was such a warm/calm day...we went all the way down to the Beaver Dam....Saw an "Eggret" -- not sure what this bird is called...I only had my little "point and shoot" digital...but the photograph is pretty good....Don't want Summer to end yet....
