Ireland Update - Summer Happenings....

Email from Jape today: from Conor's last day of national school party at our house...and Sinead and Jessie's welcome back home f rom Irish College get t ogether...any excuse will do!!!Talk to you soon...getting ready for Milan and helping Liz move today...crappy day out there...Earl is getting a 'typical' irish summer unfortunately!!! We played a fun soccer match last night...my team lost...Andrew, Earl, Sinead, Jessie, & Niamh beat us...Nick, Jamie, COnor, Alan, me...oh well...it was fun and it was only raining a little bit!!!!

Remember the song by Cindy Lauper....Sue loves it too...."Girls just wanna have fun"....here's Miss Abby....she's so happy in her little exercise seat...or whatever you call it....I'm not "up" on all the latest terms.....she's too funny...I'll have more later today...she's here with us - Great Grammy, Pepe and anyone else who happens to stop by the Sougnez Inn at 16 Thomas Drive.....

Abby is constantly trying to put both fists in her mouth...of course she got a tooth....Her Mom felt it first....you need to buy her some shoes Mom!!!
I just love this one...she looks so much like her Dad....I told Tighe this morning, I think she'll look like her pretty Aunt Beth!!!! Life is great with the grandchildren in it!!!!

Jay felt so sad the other day when he was working in the front garden and discovered a little nest of tiny newborn bunnies.....he was so careful not to disturb them and moved them to the side and re-created their nest. We all worried that "Mom" would not return to take care of them. Then Jay talked to his sister Linda and friend Bonnie (both knowing more about wild animals)...and they said to put them back where they were and try not to touch them. Jay checked every chance he could and never saw the "Mom" until almost 2 days later...he went outside with a flashlight and saw the "Mom" taking care of them. Now the "Mom" has re-built the nest and covered them over and there's a little "tunnel" where she can go in and out....all is well once again in our yard and now we'll have at least 6 more live and kicking bunnies to eat our garden!!!! Life is great!!!! Summer is here in New England....Yippee!!!

Red Sox Tribute -- they Beat San Diego

Since the Red Sox beat San Diego....the Hawkins dressed for the occasion!!!!

We took a quick ride to Meffa on Sunday to see the Hawkins....Carrie made us a delicious grilled steak and veggies....it's great to have grandchildren....

Carrie and Tighe went to the Red Sox on June 13....I got to take care of Miss Abby...she loves grabbing her feet and eating them.....she also loves having her bath and hanging out in the "all together"......

We ended up watching a Cricket match...one of the players explained the game to Theresa...Lance was glad to stand there and watch while eating his nutritious breakfast....

We took a walk to the Robert's field playground....we took Lance and Lincoln on our 2.5 mile walk with the promise that we'd get candy at the country store when we were done.....what a great breakfast ha? Lollipops....

Everytime Pepe gets out his tools, Lance is right behind him copying...none of these photographs are "staged"....he just loves fixing things....He calls the "rototiller" the "mototiller".....
