St. Flannan's Cathedral in Killahoe, Ireland - more photos from Jape

Here are a few more that Jape sent today from Ireland.....
To quote JP - "neat but a bit spooky Irish scene from St. Flannan's Cathedral in Killaloe. Another cute one of the girls pointing to a boat we can actually afford"... doesn't it look "lovely" over there? Let's all go back soon....

Killahoe trip in Ireland for the "Grene" family

Jape sent these this morning "at my nagging".....Wes had his 25th Birthday over there - can't believe he's that "old" ha Wes??? Jape, Nick and the kids went on a day trip to Killahoe - look at how gorgeous it is .... sunny and lots warmer than here!!! Looks like fun....enjoy and thanks for sending Jape....
Look at the Palm trees behind them...would you believe they're in Ireland? It must be near Cork ha Jape? I love it over there!!!

Carrie is the race car driver at the Arcade

Jeff seems to be advising Carrie on how to drive the race car here....another story to tell her daughter when she's born...."I drove like a maniac the day you were born!!!" Some of the games - like the shooting things...you get tickets for each "hit" or each "ball" you catch...so they gathered up all the tickets and Sammy got a "whoopie cushion" and some other goofy stuff like fans and one of those squeeze balls...reminded us of being at Hampton Beach with Wes many years ago...remember Wes.. you kept asking "Video games" can we play "Video games"?

Arcade with Jeff, Sammy and Carrie

We took a ride to the Indoor Arcade near Carrie/Tighe's home....the kids had fun...Sammy especially liked the boxing...he's a "tough fellow" ha Conor? He hit the guy here and it says he did "Damage" on the screen...watch out Hulk Hogan!!!

Carrie and Sammy did the "dancing" thing...you have to move your feet around paying attention to the instructions on the screen...they were laughing!!! Carrie - time for another Samba competition....I told Carrie, you'll have to tell your daughter "I danced right up until you were born"!!!

We delivered Carrie-Tighe-Abigail's Book Case to Medfa!!!

We took a ride to Medfa to deliver the book case for the baby's room...Jeff still has to finish creating the Celtic designs for the back board....it looks great in the baby's room....Carrie is modeling her new sitting chair...that will be used many times when the baby arrives....soon!!!

Sammy has outgrown the little infant seat ha?
He loves the new chair too...

Sires family --- Visit and "Mexico Send Off" party

All the Sires family gathered here before Theresa and Earl flew off to Meridan, Mexico....they are all going this Summer!!! It was great to see everyone and Eladio was able to come too and take a break from Dorm/UNH life...he headed back on Sunday too on the "Downeaster" train from Logan Express....Theresa and Earl called to say they are in the Yucatan "safe and sound" and I'm sure much warmer weather .... it's 10 degrees here today. Spring is coming soon....

Jeffrey and Jeannie Sougnez

Just thought I'd add this nice photograph that Ron took of us at Sue and Ron's New Year's Eve celebration at their lovely home in Brookline. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our "4th" grandchild....Lance, Lincoln, Ivy Jane and Abigail is waiting to be born....we hope she is born soon...I'm off next week with February vacation and Sammy and Jeff Sires will be here too....it'll be great to get together with our newest family member. We'll keep you all posted. Ivy Jane's first birthday is today and we can't believe she's already 1 year old. Check out her latest photographs and happenings at her blog page:
http://ivys-league.blogspot.com/

What an eventful first birthday for Ivy Jane with our first Nor'easter storm today....we have about 8 inches of snow....I'll take some photographs tomorrow and share our New England weather with everyone all around the world. I know the skiiers are psyched!!!

Mom and Dad - aka Casey and Larry stopped by

They stopped by on their way home from a nice little vacation in Conway at Jape/Nick's lovely hideaway condo.....it was pretty cold out there but no worries as the condo is nice and toasty and the fireplace is grand!!! Theresa/Sam/Jeff/Earl all stopped by and Dad said they "waited on us hand and foot"....They got home to a surprise visitor as Jape and Brian had arranged for all the rugs at 49 Spring St. to be shampooed...Dad and Mom said it was great!!! I kidded Mom and Dad that they were "Ma and Pa Kettle".....59 years of marriage for them!!!

Happy Birthday Sue from the gang in Newbury

We had a lovely dinner hosted by Linda and Lois at their lovely home in Newbury....It was so cozy by the fireplace on such a cold night....and we had a lovely sunset out the window overlooking this lovely horse farm next door. Happy Birthday Sue!!!

"Chicks Dig Me"

This is one of Lincoln Jeffrey's "Chic Magnet" shirts....

Lincoln Jeffrey Archibald...."Hat show"

I had fun putting all the different hats on Lincoln and this one with no hat....

This is a blue hat that a friend of theirs made for Lincoln....he doesn't mind....

Lance gets that Intense look when he's concentrating

Lance has the cutest looks when he's trying to figure something out....he was having fun figuring out Mom's light for her book.....he walked around all day with the bag to my air mattress like a backpack...he's too funny.

Lance loves Mom's Cane and Loves the Snow

Lance just loves to go outside - no matter how cold it is or whatever...they have a really nice fenced-in yard so it's great for Lance and Gable too. Here he is just psyched to be outside....

He still loves playing with Mom's cane....

He's sneaking one of his cookies to Gable.

The "Boys in Bristol" - latest visit

It's been a while since I've been into the Blog...sorry but it's been crazy lately....we had a great visit to Bristol a few weeks ago...Mom came down too. The boys are growing up so fast...Gable was a little crazy as Gran took his spot on the couch and she didn't mind "kicking him off" when it was time for bed. I even got a quick family photo...hopefully I'll get a more successful one with all of them on my next visit!!!

Lincoln loves the Bumbo seat. I figured out a new "Jeanieism"....Lincoln is so cute and innocent looking (and smelling) sitting in this seat -- but I picked him up and was hugging him and patting his back and "oooopppppsss" guess what had happened while he was sitting there looking so cute!!!! He did what I call a "BOP"....= "Blow Out Poop"..... I had to give him an immediate "tub" and had to wash everything!!! Never a dull moment...
Lance loves getting into Kathy/Brian's potatoes and onions that they try to keep stored and hidden under the kitchen table....doesn't look like that'll be a great spot to put food anymore....He thinks he's Emeril...He also loves to help Mom do the dishes....and he really loved playing with Mom's cane.
Lance was captivated watching Mom knit...he was so intrigued watching her....Hey Pepe, maybe he'll knit someday like you did when your mom showed you and Danny how.
Lincoln has joined the "Red Hat Club" in Bristol....
