Kathleen E. Miskell - Birthday Girl Today

Hi all....today is Mom's birthday....Remember her 75th a few years ago? Here she is back in her "teens"....I think Theresa looks just like her!!! Here she is below with some of the family gathered in Sturbridge to celebrate her 75th. Mom is up in Conway with Theresa, Earl, Eladio, Jeff and Sammy....it's a gorgeous/sunny/cold day....Theresa is heading out to go x-country skiing....Have a happy day Mom!!! We're all getting ready to celebrate Mom and Dad's 60th Anniversary....Jape will be flying over from Ireland too!!!

January 14 - Monday - NO SCHOOL/Yippee - Another foot of snow!!!

Had a "day off" from driving the children ... since we got another foot of "lovely/light" snow. It was great though...I got out this afternoon and "snow shoe'd" to the Country Store...Bill and Jackie had to laugh at me walking around the store in my "snow shoes". You can see where the picnic table is...remember our "Christening" party? Can't seem to remember what the picnic table looks like with our "summer meals" on it. I went shopping with Sue to EMS last week and bought these really great "Marmot Driclime" Winter leggings. They are so comfortable, lightweight and warm. I was walking along thinking "you'll never fall in snow shoes"...and of course, I took a fall...there was a big branch on the soccer field that was "camouflaged" by all the snow....I fell straight on my knees...but no problem with all the fluffy snow and these pants never got wet!!! Life is great!!!!

I called Lance and told him the playground was "buried in snow".....Spring will arrive someday!!! All you Florida Snow Birds....Enjoy!!! Talked to Theresa in Conway and she went skiing with Jeff and Eladio (he's still on school break from UNH).

January 13 - Jeff's "Workshop" Toy Boxes for the Grandkids

Jeffrey is getting into designing and building "toy boxes" for his grandchildren....These toy boxes will be "indestructible"-- built to last forever....our grandkids can give them to their "grandkids"!!!

Met adorable little Kyle this weekend at Mona and Bob's home...he's Mona's grandson...he was psyched that the Patriots won....Go Pats....Watch out Tom Brady!!!!

January 13 - Hangin out with Miss Ivy Jane

Clinton and Stacey headed into Symphony Hall to see the Chinese Acrobat production...so I headed to the city to hang out with Miss Ivy Jane....she ate almost all of her macaroni and cheese. She has a new high chair that lets her sit right up close to the table....it's so much nicer than a "baby high chair"....
